Oh the many names I called you over the years, but there was only one of you. No one quite like you kid. 
You were an incredible cuddle monster, an accomplished hunter, an absolute unit of a Dachshund, a wiz wizard, a luck dragon, big trouble, big comfort,
​my best friend, a prince, a king, and my son. 
I love you with all of my heart, and I always will.
Thank you for all of the adventures you took me on. Thank you for all of the snuggles and sniffs.
Thank you for defending me from all of those mouses and spiders, and being a stern vibe radar. Thank you for being the best boy. Thank you for sharing my cheese with me.

I am glad you are free now. Onward to your great adventure in the sky. Free from pain and from the weight of this world, though you will be missed for as long as we are apart.
